My company doesn't use Dayforce, can I still use this app for myself?

The Dayforce mobile app is only available to Dayforce customers. Additionally. the necessary mobile features must also be enabled in the main applicatior before employees can use the mobile app. For more information, contact your administrator.

What information is stored on my phone?

The app stores certain user preferences, such as the filters you apply in features like Time Off List, Attendance, and Employees. Your Company ID and user nаme are also retained, but your password is not stored on your device by default. However, there is an exception for Apple devices capable ng Touch IC or Face 1D. What is my company ID?

Company IDs are unique to each organization, and are used to identify which organization you work for. They differ from your employee number and user name in that they are specific to your orgenization, rather than to each individual user.

How do I reset my password?

If you are not logged in to the app, reset your password by tapping Forgot Password on the log in screen. If you are logged into the app, tap the Reset Password button or menu item in the My Profile feature. If the app does not display Reset Password, you have not been granted accessto reset your password. Contact your manager to reset your password for you.

What is a verified email address?

When youadd an email address to your employee record in the main application, the application automatically sends an email to that address, Once you have elicked the verification link in that email, your email address is considered verified. Verification URLs expire after 24 hours. If you need a new URL, contact your manager or system administrator to re-verify your email address. 

Why doesn't the mobile app have all the features of the web version?

The mobile application is designed to run on small, hand-held smartphones. Asa result, the smaller screen space restricts what can be displayed.

Why isn't a particular feature available on the phone?

There could be two possible reasons for this. First, not all features are available for the mobile application (see above). Secondly, administrators can enable or disable features on the mobile app as necessary. For more information about which features have been enabled for your organization, contact your manager or system administrator.

Are there differences between the iOS and Android versions?

Both platforms have the same features. While there are differences in the look and feel of some features, the functionality remains the same.

Configure the App

Before you can log in to the app, you need to input the Company ID you normally use to access the main Dayforce application. On the Login screen, tap Settings to open the configuration options. Enter the same Company ID you use for the main application, and then tap Save.

Find Your Login Details

If your organization has enabled the Apps tab in Home > Profile, you can find your Company ID and user name, as well as links to downlcad the app, in the Dayforce Mobile App section.
