Bluetooth

Turn on Bluetooth on your device, then press and hold the speaker's power button until you hear two chimes. The status light will blink blue when the speaker is ready to pair. Select the speaker from the list of available devices on your device.

Sonos app

Download the Sonos app, plug in your speaker, and follow the app's instructions. If you already have Sonos, open the app, tap Add, or go to Settings > System > Add Product.

Ethernet cable

Connect your Sonos speaker to your router with an Ethernet cable to create a separate wireless network. This can be useful if your Wi-Fi is slow, temperamental, or doesn't reach all the rooms where you want to use Sonos.

To connect Sonos to a new WiFi network, you can use the Sonos app on your mobile device to update the WiFi information for each Sonos product:

1.Make sure your mobile device is connected to the new WiFi network

2.Open the Sonos app and wait for it to search for your Sonos system

3.If the app says "No products found," select Go to System Settings

4.Under Your System, select Update network

5.Follow the instructions to connect your Sonos products to the new WiFi network

6.Once the setup is complete, you can disconnect any Sonos products that were wired to your router using an Ethernet cable

how to reset sonos

To reset a Sonos product to factory settings, you can try the following steps:

1.Unplug the power cord

2.Press and hold the Join button while reconnecting the power cord

3.Continue holding the button until the light flashes orange and white

4.The light will flash green when the process is complete

If your product doesn't have a Join button, you can try pressing and holding the Play / Pause or Mute button while reconnecting power. 

A factory reset will permanently delete any data on your system, and you cannot restore it.
