This article outlines how to make pants and shirts for your avatar, either for your own character or to sell in the Roblox catalog.

T-shirt decals

The simplest (but most limited) clothing design is a t-shirt, which is basically an image applied to the front of your avatar's torso. To make a t-shirt, create an image (128×128 pixels is ideal) and upload it to Roblox following the steps below.

Shirts and Pants

Unlike t-shirts, shirts and pants completely wrap around your avatar's body, giving you more control over your design. 2.Open the template in an image editor. You can use any image editing program you like, some free tools include GIMP and Paint.NET.

For each template, notice that the parts are “folded” and wrapped around the Roblox character’s body, arms, and legs. Here are the dimensions for each template part:

Notes / Limitations

· It is important to note that some avatars, such as Circuit Breaker, have no clothing designed by the author from the beginning.

· The uploaded clothing size image must be the correct size (585x559), otherwise it will fail to upload.

Uploading Clothing

Once you have designed your design, you will need to upload it to Roblox.

1. Save your template file. Note that you can use an 8-bit alpha channel for transparent areas.

2. Go to the Create page.

3. Click the **My Creations** tab.

2. Click Choose File in the main area of the window to select your template file.

3. Enter a creative name for your item.

4. Click the Upload button. Once approved by Roblox, the item will appear as a work of art and can be applied to your avatar or sold to other Roblox players.
